Privacy Policy
Effective Date: April 8, 2026
Tagral helps you turn your closet into cash. To do that, we handle photos, product details, and listing data on your behalf. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the controls you have over your data.
1. Who We Are
Tagral is a product of Means A Lot LLC ("Tagral," "we," "us," or "our"), a Hawaii-based company. This policy applies to the Tagral mobile app, the tagral.com website, the Tagral cross-listing browser extension, and any related services (collectively, the "Service").
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account or join the waitlist, we collect your email address and any display name you choose. If you sign in via a third-party provider (e.g., Apple), we receive the basic profile information that provider shares.
Inventory and Listing Data
To identify and list your items, we collect and store: photos you capture or upload, size-dot images used for style identification, garment details (brand, style name, size, color, condition), your asking prices and notes, and the marketplaces you choose to cross-post to.
Transaction and Shipping Data
When you generate shipping labels or record a sale, we collect the shipping addresses, package dimensions and weight, carrier and tracking numbers, and sale amounts. We do not store full payment card numbers — payments and payouts are processed by the marketplaces you sell on or by our payment processor.
Device and Usage Data
We automatically collect basic technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, crash logs, and anonymized usage events (e.g., which screens you visit, which features you use) so we can diagnose issues and improve the product.
Cross-Listing Credentials
If you use the Tagral browser extension to cross-list on eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, or Facebook, the extension operates inside your logged-in browser session on those sites. We do not collect, transmit, or store your marketplace passwords. Session cookies stay in your browser.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Identify items from size-dot and photo data, match them against our product catalog, and suggest prices based on real market comps.
- Draft, publish, and sync listings to the marketplaces you enable.
- Generate shipping labels and track shipments on your behalf.
- Send transactional messages about your account, listings, and sales.
- Diagnose crashes, improve our identification accuracy, and build new features.
- Detect fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these limited ways:
- With marketplaces you choose. When you publish a listing, the listing content (photos, title, description, price) is sent to the marketplaces you've selected.
- With service providers who help us run Tagral — for example, Supabase (database and authentication), Cloudflare (hosting, CDN, and Workers), fal.ai (image analysis), EasyPost (shipping labels), and RevenueCat (subscription management). These providers process data only on our instructions.
- For legal reasons, when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Tagral, our users, or the public.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we'll notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
5. Third-Party Marketplaces
When you list an item on eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, Facebook Marketplace, or any other platform via Tagral, your listing — and any messages or sales it generates — are governed by that marketplace's own terms and privacy policy. Tagral is not responsible for how those marketplaces handle your data.
6. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in managed cloud infrastructure (Supabase PostgreSQL, Cloudflare R2 for images, Cloudflare D1 for catalog data). All traffic between your device and Tagral is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). We use row-level security policies so that users can only access their own inventory. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your data.
7. Data Retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Listings, photos, and sale history are retained so you can reference them. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, tax records) or to resolve disputes.
8. Your Rights and Choices
- Access and export: You can view your inventory and sale history in the app at any time.
- Correction: You can edit listings, photos, and profile information directly in the app.
- Deletion: You can delete individual listings or your entire account from the app's settings, or by emailing us.
- Marketing opt-out: Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link. Transactional messages about your account and sales cannot be turned off while your account is active.
- Regional rights: If you live in California, the EU, or the UK, you have additional rights (access, portability, erasure, restriction, objection). Email us to exercise them.
9. Children's Privacy
Tagral is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. International Users
Tagral is operated from the United States. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have data-protection laws different from those in your country.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. When we make material changes, we'll revise the "Effective Date" above and notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
